Laksha Final Blog (Open Beta)
As the AI scripter and sound designer I didn't get much feedback on either. There were no mentions of the AI being off or non present, besides a couple complaints of the run speed being to low for their liking. We did receive 2 complaints about footstep sounds but I followed up with one of the playtests and it seem the audio would be get distorted on slower computers, so the crunchy trudging through leaves sound of the footsteps becomes pretty horrendous when played slowed and distorted. Aside from this most were asking for more direction and more linearization of the level. We already did a lot of optimization as far as graphics so I think we might need to just put a minimum spec requirement. I will be adding voice lines that give player more of a sense of direction, along with working with Tristan to make more landmarks/ signage to direct the player. I will also increase player sprint speed a bit but will probably slightly increase the AI's as well to make keep difficulty.

Fish Out of Water
A walking-sim horror game. Definitely not a fishing game.
